“Thanks to Tom my 18 year old Trek now rides like the day I brought it home from the store, even after years of benign neglect on my part. He explained everything he did during his tune up and showed me how to prevent a few maintenance problems. We will be bringing all of our family bikes to Tom!” – Danna G.
“I had a tire blow out on the Great Western Trail just a block away from Linito. I gave them a call and wheeled the patient right over. My tire was too far gone to repair on the spot, so Tom gave me a ride home! The next day he had the bike repaired and ready for pickup. The rates were quite reasonable, and he was very honest about my bikes condition and did not try and push any additional repairs one me. I replaced my old bike with a new (old) bike that Tom whipped right into shape. Truly great costumer service!” – Aaron D.
“Both of my bikes hadn’t had much love and attention in the past few years, which is my fault. However, I decided to do a Triathlon and needed both tuned up to train. Tom was referred to me by a fellow runner/friend. I called him and he came to my house to pick up the bikes! He was not only extremely knowledgeable about bikes, but also really a cool guy to chat with! He was honest about what he thought the price would be, and said if anything changed he would contact me and we could discuss. He did an AMAZING job on my bikes, I am now eager to get out riding, but also to share my experience. It’s not too often these days you get such personalized attention with honesty, he never tried to push any additional repairs/parts either! I wish Tom and Lisa success in their business! I hope to see them out riding also! I am going to follow them on Facebook so I can keep up with the rides they attend/host! Thanks Tom, ride on my friend, ride on” – Lisa K.
“I had a new bike delivered at home for my kid. I did not have the tools and skills to assemble it. Tom made my day! I found him on yelp.com . He was kind, professional, reasonable priced and assembled the bike on same day for me. Awesome! He was informative and provided me with tips and guidance for further maintenance. I would go to Tom for all my future bike related needs and maintenance and I do recomend him for people who are in the neighbourhood of Lombard, Villa Park. Great but simple service!!!” – Seetharam A.
“Tom is an extremely personable, professional man. It was a pleasure to use his services. I have had bike assembling issues in the past. The bikes never fully felt right. I never had a bike that could smoothly brake, shift gears, or feel optimally set for my body until now. I took my newest bike to Tom in hopes of finally having smooth, enjoyable bike rides. He assembled my bike with my body proportions in mind and he did some extra work to optimize the brakes and gears. His attention to detail is exceptional and he even pointed out an extremely minor factory defect that causes a barely visible rotational wobble in the rear freewheel. He promised me free lifetime adjustments in case this ever caused any issues. Overall, the bike feels great and it is a pleasure to ride it. Tom’s services were priced very fairly and I can genuinely vouch for his professionalism, diligence, and keen attention to detail. He even delivered the assembled bike to my house. It is hard to find people who treat their clients like family, but Tom is one of them.” – Mintcho M.
“To say that I had a great experience working with Tom on my bike is the understatement of the year. I just bought a Diamondback Insight. I plan to ride it great distances (at least 20 miles per trip). I had no idea how to change a flat tire/tube before today. Now I do. Not only that, Tom showed me how to properly lube a bike chain and other overall guidelines on bike maintenance. I cannot recommend his services enough. You simply will NOT get this kind of 1-on-1 attention in a big box store. If you’re in the western suburbs –or in Chicagoland in general– I urge you to set up a time to talk to Tom. You will walk away with a wealth of knowledge and peace of mind on the bike you own.” – Joe C.
“Special thanks to Tom for the GREAT work he did helping me bring my 1988 Ironman Centurion Dave Scott Master bike back to life including the upgrade to brifters from the old school downtube shifters. As far as I’m concerned, you saved me $1,500 I’d otherwise impulsively spent on a new bike. Now my old “girlfriend” can escape the basement and riiiiide. STEEL IS REAL!!” – Steve P
“I highly recommend Linito Cycle. Once upon a time I was doing some good riding but hadn’t used my bike in about 4 years. At least two of those years my bike was stored on the balcony. I was looking to have have it overhauled and not spend seven to eight hundred on a new bike. When searching for a place to fix my bike I looked at a lot of places in the area and found Linito. Tom was able to refurbish it and it now works like new! Actually after some of his adjustments it may be smother than new. I would consider Tom at Linito a very friendly professional that can rebuild, tweak, and tune your bike to new levels. This level of personal service is mostly unknown is a large store.
One bonus: If I end up with issues in the western suburbs when riding Tom’s comment was: “All you need is a cell phone, credit card, and my number.” He will show up and the fix problem. That is like the AAA for bikes in the western suburbs!!!” – Bill P.
“This is long over due. I wanted to get more miles on both… sets 1st though I bought a set of tire liners from Tom and have put over 200 miles on them and no flats! Saved me over $60.00 on new tires! And the 2nd set I got for a friend. He has around 50 miles on them and No Flats yet! Thanks for the great advice and all you do!!! – Erich S.
